I am absolutely in love with our State! Colorado is such a beautiful state that we live in, it's only obvious, the population grew by 150,000. in 2015! We've got the beautiful mountains, lakes and amazing ski / ride resorts in the nation! Oh yes, did I also mention, one of the healthiest state in the nation as well? What can I say, we are just beautiful all around! Since I am from SoCal, I can also say the same thing about the West Coast! I had planned my day off with my friend and hit the slopes at Copper Mountain, it was amazing! It was snowing and the resort wasn't all that crowded. I got to push myself harder, snowboarded down the hill faster and even broke a sweat on my first run! I usually don't do that. Haha! I used to have this crazy fear of going fast down the hill and switching from heal edge to toe edge, but now I'm like, come on Devorah, you got this! I am actually pretty excited for my next run, as I am finally getting better at it. I feel that my RMSP+ is definitely worth it. It was amazing, and a much needed time off! I just absolutely love the nature, it's peaceful.
Yesterday was a much needed time off, yesterday was also my oldest sons 22nd Birthday! I called him first thing in the morning to greet him a happy birthday, he said that he was going snowboarding with some friends, I told him that I was going snowboarding with a friend too; then, he asked if I wanted to join them. And of course, I passed the offer, I'd feel so weird! I don't think I'd want to feel like the old momma hanging out with my son and his 22 year old friends! Haha. But, we do have plans to board together soon. The 22 years flew by so fast, he has matured so much and accomplished a lot as well. I can say so many positive things about Jordan but, there are a few things that I am absolutely grateful for is that some of the traits that he has... he is passionate, he has goals, dreams and has so much compassion in life. As a mother, those traits are important and I feel that I have done something right. I am so proud of him. Don't get me wrong, I am proud of all of my kids! My oldest 2 are the ones that surprises me the most with their accomplishments. I'm a happy momma!
